Aesop Pay Code Crosswalk
This option is used to create a crosswalk of Aesop and PowerSchool ERP pay codes. Records need to be created in the Crosswalk only for Aesop Pay Codes that are not numeric. If the Aesop Pay Code is numeric, the program assumes that these are valid PowerSchool ERP Pay Codes, and no conversion of Pay Codes is performed.
The Aesop Pay Code is determined as follows:
- If values in positions 1-3 in Aesop file Field 10 - Entitlement Description are numeric, use Aesop file Field 10.
- If values in positions 1-3 are not numeric, use the first 3 characters of Aesop file Field 22 - External Absence Entitlement Code.
- If the resulting pay code is not numeric, use the value in Aesop file Field 10 - Entitlement Description to look up the absence pay code in the Aesop Pay Code Crosswalk reference table.
