View and Submit Leave Requests

After logging into Employee Access Center (EAC), Select Leave Information.

Use the List and Calendar tabs to navigate.


Use the Leave Information pages to view leave calendars, leave banks, leave request statuses, and submit leave requests. Detailed information retrieval depends on the versions of PowerSchool ERP and Employee Access Center used by your district.

Leave Calendar or Calendar tab

Displays a month-by-month view of a specified year. Leave, work, and non-workdays on the calendar are color-coded. If allowed by your administrator, you can use the drop-down menu to display a different range.

Leave Banks or List tab

Displays a summary of all the leave banks from your payroll records in earned, taken, pending, and remaining units. Leave units for each leave are defined by your organization and can be days, hours, or units.

For details on a selected leave bank, Select the arrow button in its Show Leave Detail column to display a list of the leave pending and taken. In some versions of EAC, this information is displayed on the List tab.

Leave Requests or List

Displays leave bank information and details on leave requests. Users can also submit leave requests from this page. In some versions of EAC, this information is displayed on the List tab.

Viewing Details for a Selected Leave Day

  1. Navigate to the Leave Calendar page. You may need to select the Calendar tab.

  2. Select the desired date to display a detail section above the calendar. If you are using the tabbed version of EAC, you can select a date with no existing information to submit a new leave request form.

Submitting a New Leave Request

The availability of submitting a new request depends on how your organization has Employee Access Center (EAC) set up.

  1. Select Leave Banks or Leave Requests. In some versions of EAC, a Create Leave Request button appears on any page tab.

  2. Select Add a New Leave Request or Create Leave Request.

  3. Select a Leave Type.

  4. Enter the Start and End dates and the number of hours, days, or units. You can enter additional information in the Notes field.

  5. Select Save to submit the leave request. The request will display on the Leave Requests page or List tab.

Cancel a Leave Request

Depending on the version of PowerSchool ERP and EAC used by your district along with administrator settings, you may be allowed to cancel a leave request.

  1. On the List tab (if available in your version), Select Options and choose Cancel Leave Request.

  2. Select Confirm.
