Update Human Resources Profile settings
Updates to the Human Resources Profile’s Position Control settings take effect immediately for new records. Existing records are not affected by changes to ID numbering settings.
Add job classes to Position Control

To add a job class to Position Control, select the Position Control option for the job class on the Job Class Table page and then populate the required fields. New positions can then be created for the job class.

Position Control cannot be turned off on a job class if position records exist for that job class.
Update user-defined fields
Changes to user-defined field configuration affect the display and validation of all position records, including existing ones. Plan user-defined field changes carefully.
