Manage Results List Display

In a results list section, you can adjust several settings so that the listing displays information in a manner most meaningful to you. Specifically, you can change the following:

  • The columns that display

  • The order in which the columns display

  • The size of each column

  • The column used to sort the list

  • The order in which the list is sorted

Adjust Column Display

  1. Right-click any column heading to display a list of default columns along with action options.

  2. Selected columns display in the list. To remove a column from the list results, clear the checkbox. The page refreshes immediately.

  3. Adjust other options to your preference:

    • Show all columns: Adjusts the display to include all default columns and marks them selected.

    • Hide all but selected: Hides all columns except the column that you right-clicked to display the menu.

    • AutoFit all columns: Adjusts column width for selected columns to the longest entry from the records.

    • Fit to view all columns: Adjusts column width for selected columns to maximize page space and align with the page edges.

    • Reset settings: Resets list display to all defaults, including size, organization, and sort order of columns.

    • Reset column sort: If you have selected a column to sort other than the default sort, returns to the default sort order but retains selected columns and other settings.

Move and Resize Columns

  • Move: Click a column header and drag it to a new position, then drop it into place.

  • Resize: Click the edge of a column header and drag it to make the column narrower or wider. Release when the desired width is reached.

Sort Results List

The default order is ascending, A to Z for alphabetical entries and 1 to infinity for numeric entries. For columns with a combination of letters and numbers, the system sorts alphabetically, with numbers sorting ahead of letters.

  1. Click any column heading to make it the primary sort column.

    • Click one time to sort in ascending order.

    • Click a second time to sort in descending order.

  2. Right-click a column header and select Reset column sort or Reset settings to revert as described in the Adjust Column Display section of this page.
