Notification Subscriptions User Page

Users can customize the notifications they receive and how they receive them on the Notification Subscriptions page. A Notifications Administrator can make edits for any user.

From the e-Forms & Tools menu, select All. From the Tools menu, select Notification Subscriptions.

Subscription Options

A user can subscribe to a notification in one of three ways. An administrator determines if a user can turn off a notification.

  • Off: The notification is not run. An administrator can disable this option for a specific notification by designating it as Mandatory.

  • On: Subscribes to the notification. It appears in the Notification Viewer only.

  • On with Email: Subscribes to the notification. It appears in the Notification Viewer and generates an individual email when trigger conditions occur.

  • On with Digest: Subscribes to the notification. It appears in the Notification Viewer and is bundled into a single email sent at a pre-determined time, along with other notifications that have this setting.

Notification

A description of the notification.

Category

These headings group similar notifications. Categories are system-defined and cannot be changed. If an administrator has disabled all notifications for a category, the category title appears but has no associated notifications listed.

The six categories are:

  • Accounts Payable

  • General

  • General Ledger

  • Human Resources

  • Purchasing

  • Workflow

Values

Optional and does not appear for all notifications. Some notifications allow a user to specify parameters. If the notification has a parameter associated with it, the user can enter a value which is used to trigger the notification. The value limits the results of the notification. A system administrator sets default values which are used if the user leaves the values blank.

Save

Save any changes to notifications.
