Notifications Viewer

The Notifications page displays a list of triggered notifications that a user has activated on the Notifications Subscriptions page.

All notifications from the Notification Subscriptions page that are turned on for a user are captured.

  • On: The notification only appears on the Notifications page.

  • On with Email: The notification appears on the Notifications page and an individual email is sent to the user.

  • On with Digest: The notification appears on the Notifications page and a bundled digest of notifications is sent at a scheduled time.

Click the Display Notification Viewer bell icon in the Dashboard header. A number on the icon indicates unread Notifications for the user. A preview panel appears. Click View All to display the full Notifications Viewer page with additional details.

Select a filter to refine the list of notifications.

  • All

  • Unread

  • Read

  • Deleted

Sort By

Select a sort option.

  • Date

  • Application: Sorts the list by product, if the organization uses multiple products.

  • Category: Sorts the list by the category assigned on the Notification Subscriptions page. If additional products are used, there may be other categories for those products.

    • Accounts Payable (AP)

    • General (GEN)

    • General Ledger (GL)

    • Human Resources (HR)

    • Purchasing (PO)

Mark All

Take an action on all listed notifications.

  • Mark All Read

  • Mark All Unread

  • Delete All Notifications

Date

The date on which the notification was sent. The date may appear as the sort category. It also appears in the notification body.

Notification

The body of the notification text. Unread notifications have background shading applied.

Action

Take action on an individual notification.

  • Read (mark as Read): Applies only to unread messages

  • Unread (mark as Unread): Applies only to read messages

  • Delete

Back to Dashboard

Closes the Notification Viewer and returns to the user dashboard.
