There are three methods to create initial positions:
Individual position entry
Create positions one at a time using the Position Control page. This method is appropriate when creating a small number of positions.
Batch Position Control
Create positions using Batch Position Control. This method is appropriate for the initial setup of classes that are not already operating under Position Control.
Import Tool
Load position data from external files using the Import Tool. This method is appropriate when migrating data from an external system.
