Error Reports and Logs Reference

The following table lists the Position Control 25.7 error reports and logs.

Batch Position Posting Log	PostBatPosn.rpt	Records results of batch position posting.
Pre-Posting Journal	PrePostBatPn.rpt	Records validation results before posting.
Account Differences Report	BatPosActDif.rpt	Lists account code differences between batch and live positions.
Position Qualification Error Report	posn_errors.rpt	Lists qualification data errors.
Exceeds Authorized FTE Log	ExceedAuthorizedFTE.log	Lists positions where filled FTE exceeds authorized FTE (generated when switching from T to Y).
Roll Position Log	rollpos.log	Records detailed results of the Create New Year Positions process. For each position processed, the log captures the position code, the action taken (created, skipped, or errored), and the reason for any skipped or errored record. Review this log after each run to identify positions that did not roll forward successfully.
Application Error Logs	main_poscontrol.log main_batch_poscontrol.log	Application-level error logs.
Process Error	erp\Service\PSERPTaskService\Logs\	Run-time errors for any process-related issue.
