Use the Course option of the Workflow Configuration Profile to define the following:

Information that will display in the email notifications sent to the approvers, instructors, and participants. In addition, define subject lines to be used for both email and activities tab notifications.

Whether approvers should be notified when a new course is submitted.

Approvers should be notified when a course is submitted.

Whether instructors should be notified that their course has been approved or denied.

Whether instructors and participants should be notified when a course is canceled.
Note
The Professional Development Courses? checkbox in the Workflow Configuration Profile's Global Settings tab must be selected to use the Course Workflow.
