After you complete the bid process, you can use the following options to maintain records in Vendor Bidding's database.

Use the Close Bids option to prevent activities from being applied against selected bids. Once a bid is closed, it cannot be reopened, nor can it be converted to a purchase order. However, you can use the Copy Bids option to copy a closed bid and create a new one for the current year or next year.

Use the Purge Closed Bids option to permanently remove closed bids from your database. Depending on your procedures, you may want to retain certain bids, so you can copy them in setting up bids for future cycles.
