Use this option to generate a listing of inventory transactions by the buildings and departments where you ship stock. The Warehouse Transactions Listing report enables you to track stock item requests, returns, adjustments, and other transactions as they relate to the locations identified by shipping codes.
For each transaction, the report includes the following information:

The Warehouse Transactions page's Discontinued field references a checkbox in the Inventory Catalog that indicates whether a stock item is active or has been discontinued. Following are the options available for this field in the page's Report Criteria section:

N-Active Items |
Selects stock items that are not marked as discontinued. This excludes all discontinued items. |
|
Y-Discontinued Items |
Selects stock items marked as discontinued. This excludes all active items. |
|
Blank |
Selects records without considering the Discontinued setting. This includes both active and discontinued items. |

Transaction Types
The Warehouse Transaction Listing report provides the code for the Transaction Type tied to each record included. Following are the codes for Warehouse Inventory database transactions, along with their descriptions:

Types A, D, and E are generated by the Enter Inventory Adjustments option.

Types B and Q are generated through the Requests option. Type B can also be generated through the Enter Inventory Adjustments option.

Type C is generated through the Purchasing System and by the Enter Inventory Adjustments option.

Types F and G are generated through the Fill Requests option.

Type H is generated based on your use of Warehouse Inventory's Year End Procedures option.

Type P is generated through the Receive Stock option.

Type R is generated through the Return to Stock option.

Type S is generated based on service orders in the Equipment Manager System.
Generating the Warehouse Transaction Listing report

Select Warehouse Inventory > Reports > Warehouse Reports > Warehouse Transactions Report to display the Warehouse Transactions page.

In the Report Criteria section, enter criteria identifying the records to include, and then click OK. To run an advanced search, use the Advanced button.

In the Print window, specify how to generate the report, and then click OK. The report's default file name is war_tran.rpt.
