There are four types of invoices in Miscellaneous Billing:

Online Invoices post to the customer's account immediately.

Batch invoices process as part of a group.

Recurrent invoices are for services or items that are billed regularly.

Mass invoices provide ways to invoice groups of customers for the same service or item simultaneously.
Batch, recurrent, and mass invoices are not posted immediately to the customer accounts. Instead, you can review and modify these types of invoices as needed before you post them to customer accounts.
