Menu Path: Billing & Receipts > Cash Receipts > Lock Box Entry
Use the Lock Box Entry menu to load, purge, create batches, and generate reports on lock box entries. Lock box entries are an alternative to manual or scanning entries. These features are used if your organization loads payments from a payment processing service.
Load Lock Box Files

Choose the Lock Box Entry page.

Select Load Lock Box File.

Click Load.

If you do not have a file, click Execute to load a tape device instead.
Generate a Lock Box Report

Choose the Lock Box Entry page.

Select Verify Load Process.

Click Screen.
Create a Lock Box Batch

Choose the Lock Box Entry page.

Select Create Batch.

On the Register Access page, enter the Register Number and Password, if needed, then click OK.

On the Load Box Batch Entry page, enter the Batch Number and Employee Name, and change the Register Date if the current Transaction Date is incorrect.

Click OK.

Click Create on the Action Bar.

Click OK.
Purge Lock Box Data

Choose the Lock Box Entry page.

Select Purge Lock Box Data.

Verify the Transaction Date before purging data. For details on updating a transaction date, refer to Receipt Transaction Date.

Click Purge on the Action Bar.
