Print Checks


There are two ways to print checks from Student Activities:

  • Print Check feature in Student Activities

  • Vendor Checks

Student Activities Print Checks

To use this feature, you will need to define your building printers. If your district uses Thin Print, you must install it.


  1. From the Activity List, choose the activities you want to print checks for, then click Options.

  2. Choose Print Checks.

  3. Choose the checks you want to print from the selected activities. The Total by Vendor page displays a list of the checks by vendor within the disbursement fund.

  4. Enter the starting check number and other information to print the checks.

    • If you selected checks from multiple bank accounts, enter the starting check information for each bank account.

    • If the Print Checks by Bank Account is selected the Fund Accounting Profile, checks are printed based on the selected bank accounts instead of the disbursement fund(s).

  5. Verify the checks printed correctly:

    • Click Yes to proceed.

    • Click No to display the reprint page.

  6. Click Finish.

  7. Review the Fund Total Report, then click OK when finished.

Vendor Checks

Menu Path: From Fund Accounting, select Entry & Processing, select Vendor Checks, and then select Vendor Checks.

Use the Vendor Check function to print checks for Student Activities transactions.

Follow the procedure for printing vendor checks and complete these additional steps:

  1. Select the Include Student Activities checkbox.

  2. Enter the Location Codes and Location Activity Account Codes.
