Profit and Loss Report

Use this report to generate a profit and loss (income) statement including net position. You can choose between a summary or detail report. The detail report includes all expenditure and revenue accounts, not just summary accounts.

The default file name of the report is profit_loss.rpt (summary) or profit_loss_detail.rpt.

The account format matches your Fund Accounting profile:

  • If Full Account Format is not selected, it displays Budget Unit and Account.

  • If Full Account Format is selected, it displays the full account string.

Payroll Encumbrance is always current.

From the Fund Accounting menu, select Reports. From the Financial Statements menu, select Profit and Loss.
