Course Forms Tab

Use this tab to define who should be notified and when for course submission and changes. With the settings on this tab, you can define the following:

  • Whether approvers should be notified when a new course is submitted.

  • Which approvers should be notified when a course is submitted.

  • Whether instructors should be notified that their course has been approved or denied.

  • Whether instructors and participants should be notified when a course is canceled.

Action Buttons

The following action buttons display on the tab:

Apply

Saves your settings.

Undo

Resets any changes you made prior to the last time you clicked Apply.

Description

Approvers

Two fields for selecting who should receive email notifications when a course is submitted. The list is populated with PowerSchool ERP users whose User Login on the General Section of Employee Information matches the User ID of a record in Security's Users page. The users also must have an email address associated with the employee record.

Notify Approvers - Course Submitted

Checkbox to determine if approvers should be sent notifications when an instructor submits a new course. Select the box if you want approvers to receive the notifications.

Notify Instructor - Course Approved

Checkbox to determine if instructors should be notified when their course has been approved. Select the box if you want instructors to receive the notification.

Notify Instructor - Course Denied

Checkbox to determine if instructors should be notified when their course has been denied. Select the box if you want instructors to receive the notifications.

Notify Instructor - Course Canceled

Checkbox to determine if instructors should be notified when their course has been canceled. Select the box if you want instructors to receive the notifications.

Notify Participants - Course Canceled

Checkbox to determine if participants should be notified when a course they are registered for has been canceled. Select the box if you want participants to receive the notifications.
