Termination Forms Tab

Use this tab to define the following:

  • Whether approvals are required for employee terminations.

  • Message that will appear if an approval group is not defined.

  • Messages that will appear on the e-Forms for employees, approvers and requesters.

  • Email address in the event that there is a problem when the final approval is complete and the employee record could not be updated.

Action Buttons

Apply

Saves your settings.

Undo

Resets any changes you made prior to the last time you clicked Apply.

Description

Base URL

The URL for employee termination workflows that will be used, in conjunction with the Web Server URL, for the Full URL that users will be taken to when they click the URL link in the email or the activity on the Activities panel of the PowerSchool ERP home page.

Employee Submit Message

Text that will display at the bottom of the initial request e-Form.

Approver Submit Message

Text that will display at the bottom of the approval e-Form.

Employee Review Message

Text that will display at the bottom of the review e-Form.

Requester Read-Only Message

Text that will display at the bottom of the read-only version of the request e-Form.

Approval Required?

Checkbox to determine if approvals are required for employee termination requests.

  • If this box is selected, when an employee termination is submitted and the employee to be terminated is not included in any employee groups of the approval group setup, the error message in the Submit Error When Approval Group Setup is Missing field will display, and the termination request will not be submitted.

  • If this box is not selected, when an employee termination is submitted and the employee to be terminated is not included in any employee groups of the approval group setup, the employee will be terminated without requiring approval. If an employee is included in an employee group, the approvals will need to be completed in order for the employee to be terminated.

Submit Error When Approval Group Setup is Missing

Text that will display when an employee termination is submitted, if the employee to be terminated is not included in any employee groups of the approval group setup and the Approval Required? field is selected.

Interfacing Error Email Address

Email address of the user who will receive an email notification if the approval process is complete, but the employee record was not updated for the termination.
