Use the Task Detail page to approve, deny or flag an individual leave request as needing correction. Approvers can review the detail of the leave request, leave bank information for the employee and the leave request history. The approver can delegate the leave request to a specific approver. For details on delegating workflow roles or individual requests, refer to Delegation.
Menu Path
From the System Administration menu, select Workflow. From the Workflow menu, select Task List.

Approve a Leave Request from the Task Detail

Open the Task List page.

Select the description of an individual leave request to display the Task Detail page for the employee leave request.

In the Action field, select Approve.

Enter comments about the approval as needed.

Click Save to process the approval.
Deny a Leave Request from the Task Detail

Open the Task List page.

Select the description of an individual leave request to display the Task Detail page for the employee leave request.

In the Action field, select Deny.

In the Comments field, enter a reason for denial.

Click Save to process the denial.
Flag a Leave Request as Needing Correction from the Task Detail

Open the Task List page.

Select the description of an individual leave request to display the Task Detail page for the employee leave request.

In the Action field, select Needs Correction.

In the Comments field, enter a reason for flagging the correction.

Click Save to process the correction flag.

If there is no role in the Role Description field, but a name in this field, this would be the name of the administrator who performed the Restart, Suspend, Resume or Canceled action from the Workflow Administrator option. |

Name of the user who was delegated and processed this leave request during the approver's absence. |

Comments |
Comments that had been entered by the approver or delegate when processing the approvals for the leave request. In the event that the leave request was canceled, this will display Employee Canceled or Administrator Canceled, based on who canceled it. |
