Use this tab to define the settings for how often your organization wants to send consolidated email notifications for Fund Accounting and Purchasing Workflows. These settings will be used if the Custom Email Task Scheduler? field on the Global Settings tab is blank.
Fund Accounting and Purchasing approvals are processed in PowerSchool ERP software on an individual item basis. For example, if you have a purchase order that includes five line items, you have the option of approving the entire order and with that, all of the line items, However, if needed, you can approve, deny, or flag as needing correction each line item individually.
This approach applies to both purchase orders and requisitions, as well as Fund Accounting transactions. The only Fund Accounting approvals not approved on an individual item basis are budget transfers, which are processed by transfer number.
When the task scheduler is used, it will consolidate email notifications by workflow and activity type for the individual items routed to or processed through approvals since the last time the scheduler ran.
