When a termination has been approved, the employee is terminated in the PowerSchool ERP software. The termination process has the following effects:

The Status field in the employee's pay rates changes to T - Terminated.

The rates calendar's End Date changes to the Last Date to Pay date, but only if the date you enter falls before the end of the fiscal year. Otherwise, the End Date fields remain unchanged.

The Status field in the General section of the Employee Information detail page changes to the code you enter. These codes are defined in the Status Code table.

For information purposes, you must assign a code indicating the reason for the termination. These codes are defined in the Termination Code table.

You can still pay an employee after the Last Date to Pay by entering a manual timecard.
