ETS Administration: Action Code Maintenance

Action Code Maintenance Overview

Use the Action Code Maintenance page to create and edit Action Codes. This option is only available if the setting for Use Unapproval Codes is activated in the Approvals Setup page in the Administration Profile.

Action Codes are used to give a reason why a submission was denied. These unapproval codes reverse an approval. When an employee's time is unapproved, the administrator must indicate with an unapproval code why it was reversed. They will appear as a drop-down list on the Timesheet page when you select an employee's timesheet on the Approve Time page.

Menu Path:  Administration > Action Code Maintenance

Adding new Action Codes

  1. Select Administration

  2. Action Code Maintenance to display the Action Code Maintenance page.

  3. Select Add a New Action Code.

  4. Complete the fields.

  5. Select Save.

 

Editing Action Codes

  1. Select Administration.

  2. Select Action Code Maintenance.

  3. Select Edit on the desired Action Code.

  4. Edit the fields as needed.

  5. Select Save
